Oospore Architects - Lala Loviscek

Studied at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she has been lecturing since 2001.

She has in-depth knowledge of the local architecture scene. She has worked for the Department of Urban Development of the Fundacion Mauricio Macri (Buenos Aires’ current mayor) and has won a prize for her design for the Plaza del Vaticano, in front of Buenos Aires’ Opera House, the Teatro Colon.

She has worked in Paris for the office of Dominique Perrault on the renowned project for the extension of the Mariinsky Opera House in St Petersburg, Russia, and was also briefly associated with the office GPM in Lisbon, Portugal. Independently she has also worked on private projects in Buenos Aires both for local and foreign clients.

She is currently one of the project coordinators of the Proyecto Centro Cultural Bicentenario, Argentina’s highest profile publicly funded project, for the refurbishment of the former Central Post Offices and their transformation into a cultural centre, including a concert hall and exhibition spaces (100,000m2), for B4FS Arquitectos.
